The first day of school for 1st through 5th grade is Thursday, September 5, 2019 and we can’t wait to share our exciting plans for the year! Here are some highlights to get you started:
New Eagles Open House
September 3, 2019, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Students who will be NEW to Island View, and their families, are invited to a special open house to get acquainted with the building before school starts. We would love volunteers, including returning student leaders, to help show the new families around. Back to School Staff Luncheon

Meet & Greet
September 4, 2019, 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Come meet your teachers and drop off some of your school supplies before school starts. It’s also a great time to stop by the PTA table and pick up a membership form, but you can get a head start by joining the PTA online at https://www.islandviewpta.org/membership. Your membership fee is tax deductible and it’s a wonderful way to get involved in your school.
Kindergarten Coffee

Parents and guardians of our youngest Eagles are invited to celebrate the first day of Kindergarten with coffee and treats with the PTA! Join us after drop off in the theater.
PTA Meeting
September 11, 2019, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us for our first PTA meeting of the year! It’s a great chance to meet other parents from our school and learn more about the amazing events and activities the PTA has planned. Our regular monthly meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of the month in the Island View Library. We’ll discuss our plans for the year, including family fun nights, movie mornings, fundraisers, and more. We hope to see you there!
